Camping
Welcome to the camping field at The New Inn, Ystradfellte. Facilities are basic with no showers available. Cold running water is available. We are situated in the tiny village of Ystradfellte in the middle of Waterfall Country.
Beautiful falls walks, and historical mountain trails are accessible on foot from the site and Pen y Fan is a 10 minute drive away. It is a perfect spot for exploring all that the Brecon Beacons National Park has to offer. The area is a certified International Dark Sky Reserve so a perfect spot for observing the stars on clear nights.
The camping arrangements here are quite informal, a basic field and hard standing is available, with 8 electric hook ups.. Open fires are permitted only if raised off the grass to prevent damage. Please ensure you bring a suitable fire pit
The cost is £8 per person per night and £5 per unit per night electric payable in the pub on arrival. A limited number of pitches are bookable online via the calendar below. Additional pitches are available for on-the-day arrivals during dry weather periods when space allows
Please note there are toilets available but no showers & no facility to empty cassette toilets.
A variety of food and drink is available from the pub during opening hours, listed below. Booking is essential
on weekend evenings and for Sunday lunch. Open Wed-Sat 1pm - 10pm Sunday 1pm & 3pm. Please note the pub is closed every Monday & Tuesday.
Being a remote rural location, the nearest shop for basic items/diesel is 2 miles away, with supermarkets/petrol stations/cash machines 6 miles away. Public transport DOES NOT service the area and taxis are hard to come by even when booked in advance
Phone signal is not available on any network in the village of Ystradfellte - The pub WiFi usually covers the field but service cannot be guaranteed. Password for 'New Inn' network is newinn123
